Position Summary: The Development Officer, Planned Giving and Endowment will work to grow, facilitate, and engage donors in the work of the Endowment Foundation. Federation’s Endowment Foundation is responsible for raising dollars for the future through various planned giving vehicles. It also manages a Donor Advised Fund program and invests endowment assets for agencies within the Federation’s catchment area. Goals include growing current assets under management as well as obtaining commitments for future gifts in order to support the mission of the Federation for future generations.

Synagogue Camp Specialist

Position Summary: The Synagogue Camp Specialist is a new position dedicated to increasing the number of families participating in Jewish overnight camps from targeted area synagogues. Jewish overnight camp is demonstrably a transformative experience for children and families, building and deepening their life-long engagement in Jewish life and values and their connection to the Jewish community. Therefore, the purpose of this position is to build an interest in Jewish camp and increase Jewish camp attendance from the targeted synagogues.

Associate Director, Women’s Philanthropy

Position Summary: The Associate Director, Women’s Philanthropy (WP) will be an integral member of Federation’s Financial Resource Development (FRD) Team with the primary responsibility of helping to foster the overall success and long-term direction of Federation’s FRD functions, particularly in the Women’s philanthropy department. Working with the Director of the department, the Associate Director will be responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of the approximately 400 donors incorporated in Women’s Philanthropy.

Manager, Volunteer Resource Center

Position Summary: The Manager of the Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) reports into the marketing and communications team. The Volunteer Resource Center has three primary functions:
1) Volunteer Engagement: Produce three hallmark events that provide volunteer opportunities for the community and young families: Mitzvah Day, Supplies for Success, and March Mega Food Drive/March Mitzvah Madness. In addition, the Manager of the VRC curates a library of volunteer opportunities available to community members, works with Bar/Bat Mitzvah families for tikkun olam projects, and provides additional opportunities to connect the community to volunteerism and Federation.
