There is a place for you at Jewish Federation!
Women’s Philanthropy

Every Woman Matters – Women’s Philanthropy is a remarkable community of women who support the vision of Jewish Federation. Feel the impact of your involvement with volunteerism, tzedakah, programs ranging from serious to lighthearted and everything in-between. Be challenged, inspired, educated, entertained and ultimately enriched, through your engagement with Women’s Philanthropy. Every year our women come together for a very special Spring Luncheon to honor our volunteers and show the impact women have in our community. For more information, please contact Barbara Joyce at or call 201-820-3953.

Healthcare Professionals

Bonding Through Healthcare – Jewish Federation’s Healthcare Professionals include doctors, dentists and all allied healthcare professionals who live and/or work in our community. The group provides networking and educational opportunities for its members as well as occasions to socialize and celebrate the work of Jewish Federation. It brings its members together to strengthen the bond between northern New Jersey and their medical counterparts in Israel and the greater Diaspora.

Commerce and Professionals

Connect and Network – Jewish Federation’s Commerce and Professionals Division provides opportunities for men and women in the fields of finance, law, insurance and others, who live and work in northern New Jersey, to network, socialize and strengthen their bonds with the Jewish community, here and abroad. Throughout the year there are networking events to enrich your knowledge of various topics and its connection to the Jewish community.

Hudson County

Welcome to Hudson County! – Please join us in welcoming lower Hudson County to our northern New Jersey Jewish community. The cities of Hoboken, Jersey City and Bayonne have come together to create the Hudson County Regional Council which will develop, deepen and advance the relationship between Hudson County and Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey. Young professionals, empty nesters, retirees and a growing number of Israelis living in Hudson County are now able to benefit from even more events, activities and programs funded by Jewish Federation such as Moishe House Hoboken, Birthright Israel, One Happy Camper, Synagogue Leadership Initiative and social services. This new partnership will help expand our ability to nurture Jewish life locally in Hudson County and around the world. For more information, please contact Kim Schwartzman at
