Yom HaAtzma’ut – Teaneck’s Votee Park

Israel Independence Day (75th Anniversary)

On Tuesday evening April 25, Bergen County’s Jewish Community will gather at Teaneck’s Votee Park to celebrate Israel’s 75th Yom Haatzmaut – Independence Day.

The program will begin at 6:15 PM at the Rodda Center with a Yom Hazikaron Kumzitz – a gathering to remember Israel’s fallen soldiers with stories, music, and words of Torah. The Kumzitz will be led by Jewish music star Uri Davidi.

At 7:30 PM, the program will continue with mincha and a special tefillat maariv that will conclude with the singing of Tehillim 107. The program will then move to Votee Park’s new Sportscomplex for an immersive audiovisual experience that will include special effects to celebrate Israel’s 75-year history and its promising future.

This will begin at 8:15 PM and conclude before 9 PM with dancing. Bergen County contains many leading Religious Zionist / Modern Orthodox Congregations. We will set aside this evening to come together and make a critical statement. We proudly celebrate our Zionism on this special day in our people’s history. Israel is a source of hope that testifies to the vibrancy of the Jewish story and God’s presence in human destiny. We proudly support Israel. Rain date April 26
