Jewish Federation’s March Mega Food Drive
March 25: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Volunteer to sort and pack food at Jewish Federation! Let’s fill our neighborhood food pantries together. We’ll also be packing snack packs for kids at risk of weekend hunger for our Weekend Snack Pack Drive.
Food will be collected during the month of March. Our most needed items include: tuna, salmon, chicken, shelf-stable milk (boxed or powdered), beans, potatoes, rice, pasta, cereal, baby food, diapers, formula, adult briefs, mac and cheese, chili, stews, meaty soups, jelly jams, peanut butter, canned fruit, vegetables, toilet paper, tissues and paper towels. As you clean out pantries for Passover, we will be collecting for our hungry neighbors.
Please check expiration dates • No glass or soda
All food should be dropped off at Jewish Federation or participating collection sites by Friday, March 23. Then, join us on Sunday, March 25 to sort and pack! This program is being run by Jewish Federation’s Volunteer Resource Center. For more information, please contact Beth Figman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 201-820-3947.
