For those of you who don’t know, I’m a graduate of a Yeshiva day school. From pre-K to 12th grade I spent my days learning a duel curriculum of English and Hebrew subjects in addition to the core values that fuel Judaism. I always felt connected to the idea of Chesed, kindness. Chesed is central to Jewish ethics and it’s often a value that contributes to Tikun Olam, repairing the world. While I always felt connected to Chesed and Tikkun Olam, I wouldn’t say that I ever really put myself out there and participated in them until very recently. More
