The Kehillah Partnership Cooperative, northern New Jersey's community-wide group purchasing initiative, is excited to announce that it has saved a combined $1.3 Million with almost 100 participating organizations. Congratulations!!
Your participation has been essential. Thanks go to all institutions, agencies, schools and synagogues who have helped us help you. We have shown that working together can truly impact our bottom lines, as well as create leverage when negotiating with vendors.
Discussion at the meeting was Maintenance Services and Solar Power.
Maintenance:
Thanks to the Jewish Educational Services of, the Kehillah Partnership Cooperative has the opportunity to work with Yeshiva University and Jewish Education for Future Generations to see how working together could create additional leverage for our community. YU and JEFG are currently looking at areas that would lower costs among our day schools in northern New Jersey; Maintenance Services is one of these areas. A few schools have already implemented this, and are realizing significant savings.
Including all our community organizations along with our schools in this initiative will only increase our leverage and lower costs further. Representatives from the schools that have done this will be on hand to discuss the benefits and process, as well as an industry expert for a brief presentation on the program.
Solar Power:
Many of you have expressed interest in Solar Power to help further reduce your electric costs. Some of our community organizations are in the middle of the process to make solar power for their facility a reality. We have invited experts in the solar arena to deliver a brief presentation on how to implement solar for your facility, it’s benefits, and to answer any questions that you have.
You don’t have to wait until the meeting to begin saving!! We currently have nine offerings to help you save, that many of you are taking advantage of now. They are:
ELECTRICITY
NATURAL GAS
SHIPPING
CREDIT CARD PROCESSING
OFFICE SUPPLIES
TELEPHONE SERVICE (voice and data)
JANITORIAL SUPPLIES
WASTE REMOVAL
FINANCING
