Teens for Tots:
A great Bar/Bat Mitzvah project!
For students, a hands-on experience in which they research and then teach young children about Jewish traditions, holidays, foods, music, etc. The professionals at Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey’s Synagogue Leadership Initiative will work with parents to put together an exciting program that will entertain and teach the young children while they’re having fun.
The Bar/Bat Mitzvah student comes to JFNNJ to meet with young children (approx 4-7 years old). Their project can be themed around an appropriate Jewish-centered subject and can include stories, songs, craft projects, and a snack.
This is an after-school program being held at Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey. Two sessions, approximately 1 ½ hours per session. One Bar/Bat Mitzvah student per project.
